Wedding Card

Today's stamping was dedicated to wedding card creations.  My inspiration card is below, the beautiful Christmas card.  Utilizing similar concepts and various embossing folders the background was created.  Note, the itty bitty banner was used for congratulations and Sahara Sand was used as the foundational paper.

Hearts Aflutter!

We normally see hearts around Valentine's Day right?  But, I think this card is year round expression of love.  It is whimsical and full of texture.  Keep the layout and change the card stock and designer series paper (DSP) to reflect the occasion or season.    For a more masculine card, use baker's twine instead of ribbon and swap out the colors...maybe Night of Navy and Elegant Espresso???

Air Force Retirement Work of Art

Using the Work of Art stamp set, I created this patriotic Congratulations card for a friend retiring from the United States Air Force.  The silver stars add a celebratory (and elegant!)  touch to blue and gold Work of Art splotches.

My first Post!

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I created two soft and elegant sympathy cards.  I anchored this Early Espresso card with a beautiful organza bow and a Stampin' Up's Vintage Faceted Designer Button.

The second card in today's post was created using Lovely Lilac ink and a sentiment from the Simply Sketched stamp set.  Texture and dimension were added by using simple white card stock embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

Here I am with my longtime friend Terry stamping away in Marlene's paper therapy room.  Visit Marlene's blog, So Many Toys So Little Time by clicking here!
