Snowman Shepherd

This stamp is one of my all time favorites.  I love the whimsical nature of the snowman and the wonderful concept of the snowman as a Christmas Shepherd.  The paper behind the shepherd is SU Christmas 2014 DSP.  The Christmas greeting is from the SU Endless Wishes stamp set.  The snow shepherd's stick arms and legs are so cute and his face has such a special warm smile.

Fun Christmas dog

This dog in his Christmas hat just makes me feel good.  Layering a variety of papers and using sewing to tie them all together adds a nice touch.  The little piece of holly is also a stamp.  It was stamped, colored and fussy cut. Red stones were added to the holly flowers.  The dog stamp and holly are from Hampton Art and the patterned paper is from Memorybox.

Beautiful Santa

I love this Santa Claus stamp.  I have used it for several years and love the various options.  The background was stamped with the poinsettia from the SU Watercolor Winter stamp set from the 2012 Christmas Catalog.  Sewing was again utilized in addition to a large button and the SU Christmas 2014 DSP paper.

Festival of Trees Christmas Cards

My other favorite SU Christmas stamp set is the Festival of Trees set.  It is so neat that there is a punch and multiple stamps to layer upon the trees.  The tree punch allows one to utilize the DSP and create a forest of trees.  The beautiful star punch is a Martha Stewart punch.  Using the DSP for the background paper is another option.

Endless Wishes Christmas Cards

Time as always got away from me.  Far too much to do and too little time.  I did get a chance to have some fun with some of the new Stampin Up Christmas stamp sets.  One of my favorites is the Endless Wishes set.  The snowflakes are whimsical and the font of the words within this set are beautiful.  I used the Trim the Trees DSP.  I finally pulled out my sewing machine and tried adding a zig zag element.  I think I have found my new favorite embellishment-type element.  Another fun embellishment is the SU Frosted Sequins.
