Retro Rubber Challenge Blog

Remember this Stampin Up set from 2003?  The house is from the "Heart and Home" set.  I absolutely love the chalk board effect.  I made this card for my secretary who will be leaving to relocate with her husband to Ft Lewis.  In the military we often say, "home is where the heart is"...because we move so frequently.  The statement is also from the same set.  I added the "good luck" to wish her well on her move and re-settlement.  The new item in this retro card is the use of the Word Bubbles Framelits.

  1. What a sweet card for your secretary! I don't know this set because it was a few years before I started stamping but agree that it is so cute as a chalkboard card! Thank you for bringing it out to play with your new Word Bubbles framelits for our very first Retro Rubber challenge! Hope to see you back soon.

  2. Adorable! I should have guessed that chalkboard had been featured prior to this go around (as all good things cycle!). Using the bubble framelits really accentuates the sentiments. Love the little hearts in this home image... such a sweet stamp! As a military brat, I use that expression often. Thanks for including RRBC in your stamping fun this week. Hope we will see you often!!
